REFLECTIONS
This is my first time to have an e-portfolio... This is very exciting to me...New experience., new stuff that i'd learned in Technical Communication.. i like it very much.. at first i thought that creating an e-portfolio is difficult and complicated... but then the thought changed as i'd created one of mine...
From my point of view, "e-portfolio" is the new way of representing myself conveniently to the world.. It makes things easy for me to communicate and express myself in my "e-portfolio"... As my "e-portfolio" contains almost everything that somebody would want to know about me, so people, do check out on the "e-portfolio" as it is the online version of me.. People who want to know about me can view the e-portfolio...
The advantages of having the "e-portfolio" is that it is very lenient since it is editable due to any current changes, portable because we can have it with us to just about wherever&whenever we want it to be(which is totally cool), convenient and smart.. For example, you are attending an interview and you are needed to show the resume, by having the "e-portfolio", a large folder is no longer necessary to keep all of your qualifications and skills... in addition, the old-fashioned, the printed resume and qualifications require a longer time for the interviewer to analyse.. but just by bringing a cd that contains the "e'portfolio" or kindly ask your interviewer to view your e-portfolio during the interviewer, can convince the interviewer that you are exposed to the internet stuff... nowadays i am sure that most of the people have the internet connection... so it should not be a problem to view your e-portfolio anywhere...
For my learning outcomes.. by doing e-portfolio... it can help me in improving my english and the way of making a full use of a blog... besides that, i also can change opinion about the current issues and knowledge with other people who view my blog... in that way i can improve myself better with such knowledge i had gained and shared with others...
Last but not least, i hope by having an e-portfolio will make things easy for me when it comes to a time when i am in need of it, for example if i were to have an interview... people will not be asking me "what is e-portfolio..?" i hope by having e-portfolio.. i will not have to explain much about myself... i'll just write everything about myself in my e-portfolio and people will surely read it... i do not prefer myself being questioned a lot by the interviewers as if my resume and portfolio are not complete or good enough.. SO BY HAVING THIS E-PORTFOLIO, I WILL NOT HAVE TO UNDERGO AN INTERVIEW WHERE THERE WILL BE TOO MANY QUESTIONS BEING ASKED.. Other than that, i hope by having this e-portfolio will help me in my career building in the future ahead... thanks to Ms Linda for teaching me how to create an e-portfolio.
